Welcome to Staplecross Bowls Club

We are a mixed bowls club enjoying the benefits of a large, well maintained Green and modern clubhouse and patio and are affiliated to Sussex County Bowls/Bowls England

We play in two local leagues, as well as friendly games, but we are also pleased to welcome touring sides.  We are in 1066 country and there are many places of interest nearby such as Bodiam Castle & Battle Abbey

Green location:  Our Green is situated at the heart of the village of Staplecross, just round the corner from the Cross Inn

New members:  We are always pleased to have new members join our club, whether experienced bowlers or those new to the game.  We give new bowlers the opportunity to try the game before committing themselves to membership, so if you are interested in trying your hand, please come along to one of our club evenings on Fridays at 6.00 pm.  We have spare bowls for those that wish to try the game, but please wear flat, heelless footwear
